Our Story
In 1979, Born in the Port of Miami, Miami Container Repair began what would soon become "The American Dream". George Novo, a Cuban immigrant, forced to leave his country by himself at the age of only 11 years old worked endless days building what is now the largest, unionized, full-service supplier to the intermodal industry in South Florida.
Our Services
Decades later, we are proud to say we continue our presence in the Port of Miami and now Port Everglades Terminal under our subsidiary, South Florida Container Repair. Our fully equipped mobile trucks cover the South Florida Ports 24/7/365. In 1996, due to high demand, our off the dock location, Miami Container Repair's Terminal was established. It is a 20+acre depot and CY Yard with capacity of 20,000+ TEUs as well as access to 350+ adjacent acres. We are capable of any type of structural and mechanical repair or maintenance. We have 22+ reefer plugs on premise and full reefer/genset service.
Our Team
Currently run by Mr. George Novo and his three children, MCR truly is a family business. Our team members start as hired employees and become a part of our family. This family is made up of experienced logistics professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional service. We work together to ensure that every client receives the best possible solutions and support.
